Celebrate Holi festival in a harmonious manner: DC

A meeting of the District Level Peace Committee was held on Saturday in the meeting hall of the District Council under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna regarding Holi. In the meeting, the peace committee members from the blocks gave information about the peace committee meetings organized in the blocks and the programs organized on the occasion of Holi in their respective areas. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Vaghmare Prasad Krishna said that the festival of Holi should be celebrated in a harmonious manner. After the announcement of elections, Model Code of Conduct is in force which needs to be followed. 

To ensure that the festival of Holi can be celebrated in a cordial manner, magistrates and police officials have been deputed. The administration is keeping an eye on anti-social elements. The festival of Holi is celebrated with great enthusiasm in India. Therefore, you should also play Holi in your respective areas and strengthen the cordial relations with each other. Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman said that the basic spirit of religion should be taken care of during Holi. Don't hurt anyone. Holi has been celebrated with great enthusiasm in India. Whenever you play Holi, use organic colors. Chemical colors are harmful to health. Use of organic colors provides employment to local people. Police administration and excise department are continuously conducting raids and taking action against those making liquor illegally. There is availability of adequate police force for festivals and elections in the district. 

Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat said that people of different religions in India should celebrate more festivals together with mutual harmony. Trainee IPS, Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, ITDA Project Director, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, all district level officers, all Block Development Officers, all Circle Officers, all police station in-charges, peace committee members were present in the meeting.
