CM Dhami conducts whirlwind campaign in Uttarkashi, Tehri & Haridwar

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed public meetings at Bhatwadi (Uttarkashi), Ghansali (Tehri) and Jhabreda (Haridwar) in support of party candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday.

 Addressing people at Ramlila ground in Bhatwadi, the CM said , “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar on Tuesday and  he has sent his greetings for you. I am here to give his message.’’  He exhorted the people to vote for the victory of BJP candidate Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah so that Narendra Modi becomes PM of the country again.

 He said that under the leadership of PM Modi India is taking rapid strides on the path of development. Under his leadership the all weather road project was completed and new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMMS) are coming up in every state. Dhami said that bank accounts of the poor were opened and free gas connections were given to women under Ujjwala Yojana. Under the leadership of Modi, Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched which is the biggest scheme of the world in the health sector. Free ration is being given to the poor and today every citizen of the country is considering Modi as a member of his family.  He said that the area around Bhawadi is developing as a tourism hub and projects worth Rs 400 crores are being undertaken in the area.

Addressing another public meeting at Ghansali in Tehri district, the CM claimed that work on 28 projects worth Rs 77 crores is underway in Ghansali.

He said that while PM Modi is taking action on corrupt leaders, the opposition parties are supporting corruption and dynasty politics. Dhami said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India became the fifth largest economy of the world and is poised to become the third largest economy in his third tenure as PM of the country.
