CM launches AI, Block Chain Technology courses

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that International Day of Women and Girls in Scoience Science is an occasion to encourage participation of women in science. Addressing a programme on the occasion at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center, he said that women hold profound respect in India's cultural traditions. It may be noted that International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated by UNESCO in partnership with civil society.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the first citizen of our country is President Smt. Draupadi Murmu holding the highest post. This is the beauty of democracy, which has further enriched with the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged women to make every possible effort to move forward and advance society.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today sisters of 12 tribal districts, ITIs, Polytechnics, Engineering colleges have been honoured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is striving to bring about positive changes in the lives of the poorest of the poor. The nation will undergo a positive change with the women advancing in science, technology and engineering. Every possible effort will be made to provide world class training through ITIs, Polytechnics, Engineering Colleges.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav digitally inaugurated courses and training sessions in various institutions. Industrial safety training was started in all the government ITIs of the state under Indo German Initiative for Technical Education (IGnITE). Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Thing course was started in Jabalpur Engineering College and Blockchain Builder Technology course was started in Ujjain Engineering College for training in online mode in collaboration with IIT Delhi. Similarly, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality courses were also launched in SV Polytechnic Bhopal. Procurement Essential for Student Advancement (PESA) course launched at Mahila Polytechnic College, Bhopal in collaboration with IIT Indore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed stipends worth Rs 6 crore 60 lakh to eight thousand selected trainees under the Seekho Kamao Yojana through. He honoured women skilled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) field and gave away offer letters to female candidates selected in Job Fairs including Mehak Shukravare, Ruby Singh Yadav, Aishwarya Tiwari, Ragini Rawat, Shraddha Kushwaha, Aarti Kudape etc.

Additional Chief Secretary Technical Education and Skill Development Manu Srivastava said that girls’ education is among the top priorities of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Every possible effort is being made to increase the participation of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education (STEM) in the state.

Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with mementoes made by students. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented a handmade angavastram by the students of Mahila Polytechnic, Bhopal, which had a drawing of the Ram temple drawn by the students.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by the Skill Development Department with a huge image of Lord Shri Ram. Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Gautam Tetwal, Chairman Skill and Employment Generation Board Shailendra Sharma, Country Head UN Women Suzanne Ferguson, Senior Professor IIT Devashish Mitra and women who have made significant contributions in the field of science and technology besides students from engineering and technical education institutes were present in a large number in the programme.
