The voter turnout for Bokaro district reached an impressive 61.41% by 5 PM on May 25th, as reported by the district election office. In a press conference, DC-DEO Bokaro Vijaya Jadhav shared the interim voting percentages and expressed optimism about a strong final turnout.

DEO Jadhav highlighted that the voting process was completed peacefully across the district, with no significant incidents reported. She commended the efforts of the entire election team, from senior officials to on-ground staff, emphasizing her pride in their dedication and efficiency.

The voter turnout across the assembly constituencies within Bokaro district displayed significant engagement from the electorate. Gomia (34th Assembly Constituency) recorded a turnout of 67.62%, reflecting robust participation. Bermo (35th Assembly Constituency) saw a turnout of 63.69%, while Bokaro (36th Assembly Constituency) registered  turnout at 52.07%. Chandankiyari (37th Assembly Constituency) led the district with the highest voter turnout at 71.41%. These figures indicate varying levels of voter engagement across the district, with Chandankiyari notably standing out for its exceptional participation rate.

Moreover, the turnout for the 6th Giridih Lok Sabha constituency stood at 64.75% by 5 PM on May 25th. This data underscores the high level of civic engagement among voters, reflecting a robust participation in the democratic process.
