Thursday, 04 April 2024 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been served a defamation notice by former Congress state general secretary and AICC member Arun Sisodia for calling him a ‘sleeper cell’.

As per information, Sisodia has sent him a notice through his lawyer Saurabh Choubey and sought a reply within 15 days.

Baghel had earlier said that some people in the Congress were working like sleeper cells with bad intentions. They do not want the betterment of the party.

His statement targeted those workers who have recently put forth their points of view on open forums against senior leaders.

Sisodia said in notice that "sleeper cell" is a term used for persons working for terrorist organizations.
