Under the chairmanship of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Lohardaga, a meeting with all the bank managers was held on Tuesday in the meeting room of the Collectorate. In the meeting, bank managers were given information about the prescribed limit of cash in case of implementation of Model Code of Conduct, providing necessary documents related to cash to the customer, necessary data entry on C-VIGIL and reporting for information to the concerned officials and team. Bank managers were also given training during the meeting for necessary monitoring of withdrawals and deposits from bank accounts during elections. Bank managers were instructed to remove all banners and posters of government schemes from banks. The model code of conduct should not be violated under any circumstances. All the bank managers were given detailed information about the C-Vigil app, portal and Election Seizure Management System by the District Informatics Officer. Deputy Election Officer Dheeraj Kumar Thakur, Informatics Officer Akash Singh, Leading Bank Manager Navendu Kumar, Product Superintendent, Election Expenditure Accounting Cell and Election Expenditure Monitoring Cell officials were present in the meeting.
