The Election Commission in Chhattisgarh has addressed 525 complaints of Model Code of Conduct breaches received through the cVigil app, an official communiqué said on Monday.
They have also removed a total of 4,28,721 pieces of illegal political propaganda since the model code was implemented.
Citizens can complain about violations such as illegal political promotional materials through the application by taking a photo or making a two-minute video or audio recording.
Action is taken within 100 minutes of receiving a complaint. The complainant is informed once the issue is resolved.
