Govt officers and employees are servants of the society: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that government officers and employees should work with the feeling that they are not government servants but servants of the public. There should always be a manifestation of humanity and sensitivity in their working style. The rights enjoyed by government officers and employees are for the fulfillment of public aspirations and interest for which they are accountable to the public. Government service provides an opportunity to showcase one’s versatility and is also a challenge for them. Generally, when a person is empowered, he gets a sense of stability, whereas we have to remain constantly alert and active. Government service is not just a job but a big responsibility to do the best for society. Whatever role we get, we should try to play it in the best possible way with full confidence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this while addressing the inaugural session of the joint basic training programme of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Forest Service, and State Service officers at the Academy of Administration, Bhopal online from New Delhi.

Chief Minister interacts with trainees

A state level training program of Indian Administrative Service 2023 batch, basic training program of Indian Forest Service 2022 batch and joint basic training program of State Civil Service 2019-20 batch started at the R.C.P.V. Noronha Academy of Administration and Management, Bhopal from June 10. The program was inaugurated at the Academy of Administration by Additional Chief Secretary General Administration and Director General Academy of Administration Vinod Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Forest J.N. Kansotiya, Secretary General Administration Smt. G.V. Rashmi and Director Administration Academy Mujibur Rahman who lit the lamp. The theme song of the Academy was also sung. All the trainees introduced themselves on this occasion.

Good governance is the work done in public interest

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that government officers and employees are expected to work for good governance. While explaining good governance, he said that work done in public interest is good governance. The Ramrajya of Lord Ram, and the tenure of Emperor Vikramaditya and Emperor Ashoka are considered synonymous with administrative efficiency and good governance. He told them to make the best use of their time and try to move forward based on their ability and capability.

Create an identity by working like a Karmayogi while remaining fearless and selfless

Chief Minister Yadav encouraged the trainees to create their own identity by working like a Karmayogi while remaining fearless and selfless, to spread their aura in the society on the basis of transparency, honesty and dutifulness in their working style and inspired all to adopt new disciplines and innovations. He also wished them a bright future.

Training to nine Indian Administrative Service, 15 Indian Forest Service and 127 State Civil Services trainees

Additional Chief Secretary and Director General Academy of Administration Vinod Kumar said that the main objective of basic training is to orient the selected talents towards public service. The administrative structure of Madhya Pradesh, administrative system, rules, and procedures have been included in the training. Along with this, the participants will also be introduced to the social, economic, geographical, and cultural aspects of the state.

Director Academy of Administration Mujibur Rahman said that 9 trainees of the Indian Administrative Service, 15 of the Indian Forest Service, and 127 trainees of State Civil Service will receive training in the joint basic training program.
