Heavy rainfall and hailstorm was witnessed in Jabalpur and Umaria of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday morning, hail storm was witnessed in Sohar village of Bargi tehsil in Jabalpur and among other regions Seoni and Mandla also witnessed rainfall which caused a lot of damage to crops.
Water and thunder lightning in Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Anuppur, Mandla, Balaghat on Saturday night was witnessed. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of clouds, rain and thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh for the next 3 days. Winds of speed of 30 to 40 km/hour in the districts of Jabalpur-Narmadapuram division. The period of severe cold will start again from February 14. Night temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

The night temperatures on Saturday recorded in big cities were Bhopal 12.4 (temperature in degrees Celsius), Indore 13, Gwalior 6.9, Jabalpur 12.8,
Ujjain 12.7.
The regions recorded night temperature less than 10 degree celsius were Datia 5 (temperature in degrees Celsius), Khajuraho 7, Rajgarh 8.2, Naugaon 8.5,
Guna 9 and Rewa 9.4.
Today, due to the trough line, south-easterly winds will remain strong. Showers may occur at isolated places in Narmadapuram, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions. Strong wind is also expected. There may be light rain in Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions in February 12. There is also a forecast of strong wind.
The system will weaken on February 13, but there may be isolated drizzle in Rewa and Sagar divisions.
