A day after the post poll alliance between BJP and JJP fell apart in Haryana, former Deputy Chief Minister and Senior National Vice President of Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), Dushyant Chautala said the alliance broke down as his party demanded two Lok Sabha seats and an old age pension of Rs 5100 from BJP.

He said that Power (Government) is not anyone's ancestral property but whoever is given power by the public gets the opportunity to serve. Chautala said, “In the last four and a half years, being a part of the government, we have worked for every section of the society, without consideration of any particular caste or regionalism and will continue to do so in future also.”
Her said, “Due to their participation in the government, the old age pension reached Rs. 3 thousand, Rs. 1 lakh crore went directly into the accounts of the farmers through the purchase of 14 crops at MSP, 50 per cent reservation for women in Panchayati institutions, 8 per cent reservation for BC category, 20 per cent reservation in promotion of SC employees, digital libraries in villages, conducting competitive examinations within a radius of 50 km and many such historic works have been done.”
Chautala urged the present Haryana government to carry forward the new initiatives taken in the interest of the people by the previous coalition government. He also demanded from the state government that as per the promise of JJP and the provision of the State Government Budget, Sant Guru Ravidas temple in Kurukshetra should be completed.
On the issue of JJP contesting Lok Sabha elections, Chautala said that JJP will move forward with whatever decision the JJP National President will take after discussions with all the party officials and workers. He also said, “Together we will make our way to Lok Sabha and will also do the work to open the gates of the State Assembly.”
