Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold roadshows at Model Town and Jahangirpuri on Wednesday in support of his INDIA alliance partner Congress’ candidates of India Alliance for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav said “Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold roadshows at Model Town and Jahangirpuri tomorrow (Wednesday) in support of the three Congress candidates of India Alliance for the Lok Sabha elections. Chandni Chowk candidate Jai Prakash Agarwal, North West Delhi candidate Dr Udit Raj and North East Delhi candidate Kanhaiya Kumar, will also take part in the roadshows.”
Adding that this will add fresh impetus to the campaign of the Congress candidates, Yadav said, “Thousands of Congress and AAP workers, who have been doing election work together for all the seven India Alliance candidates for the past many days, will take part in the road show.”
He claimed that Congress and INDIA alliance workers have been canvassing in all the seven seats with complete coordination and understanding, and their united functioning will be reflected in Kejriwal’s road show. Further, a meeting of the Manifesto Committee of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, under Chairman of the Manifesto Committee Anil Kumar, was held at the DPCC office, to give final shape to the draft constituency-specific manifestos, which will focus on the issues affecting the three Lok Sabha constituencies where Congress has fielded its candidates with the support of India Alliance.
