Saturday, 24 February 2024 | PNS | Bhopal

A case of railway negligence surfaced at  Bhopal railway station, a young man reached platform 6 with a car, after which the RPF warned the driver and left him.

It was found  that this incident took place on the night of February 21 when a family member who had come to drop a passenger parked the car very close to the platform, after which the RPF immediately warned the youth and removed him from there. The Railways has now given orders to build a wall here, so that no one can do this in future.

This was the incident. It is being told that at around 9 pm, a young man came from platform number 6 to drop a passenger, parked on the path near the FOB at Bina End, after which the railway officials immediately got him removed from there. And when they were taking action against the young man, then the young man said that he did not know about this rule of the Railways, hence no action should be taken against him. Then the Railways warned the youth and released him.

RPF Commandant said that the driver was warned and he was not aware, hence no action was taken. We have asked the engineering department to install railings so that only passengers can reach the circulating area and no such incidents happen in future.
