Pragya Thakur alleges misbehaviour on Akasa

Saturday, 17 February 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Bhopal MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has made serious allegations of misbehavior against the duty manager and staff of Akasa Airlines.

The MP has complained about this to Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. By tweeting on the X handle, she has called the entire incident a conspiracy.

MP Pragya tweeted and wrote - 'When I came to Delhi from Mumbai to Delhi by Akasa Air flight number QP1120, duty manager Imran and his associates conspired and tried to cause great harm to me. I hope you will definitely take action. She made this post at 3:20 on the night of Thursday.

Bhopal MP told that she had left from Mumbai for Delhi by Akasa Air flight. At around 8 pm, the airlines' duty manager Imran and his entire gang tried to harm him at Delhi airport. This is a whole gang which is working in a planned manner. I am writing a complaint in full detail about this and giving it to Scindia.

Pragya has a serious problem with her spine. In such a situation, a wheelchair is required while going from the airport to the flight and while boarding and deboarding. When the MP landed at Delhi airport, the on-duty manager and staff of the airlines who received her not only misbehaved with her. Rather, her wheelchair was shaken with the intention of causing harm. This has caused problems in her back.

Responding to the MP's post, Akasa Air wrote - Pragya, we are very concerned about your experience. We assure you that your feedback has been shared with our team for review and necessary action, but the reply was later deleted by the company. When Bhaskar called on the number given on the company's website and wanted to know the side, he got the reply that you can get the answer on e-mail. The company will respond to you within 24 to 48 hours.

Apologized in the afternoon, asked for investigation. Akasa Airlines spokesperson issued a statement on its letterhead on Friday afternoon. It said, we regret the de-boarding experience of the MP. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to them on our flight QP1120 on 15 February. We will get the incident investigated.
