Misrod police have arrested accused of raping an 8 year old girl in the hostel of a private school in Bhopal, along with accused SI Prakash Singh Rajput who was accused of pressurizing and threatening the applicant was also arrested on Tuesday.

School director Miniraj Modi was caught from his house late on Monday night. In the police station the girl recognized Miniraj as soon as she saw him. She said that this bearded uncle was the one who had done dirty act to her.

On Tuesday, Misrod police also nabbed SI Prakash Singh Rajput, on the charge of pressurizing and threatening the applicant. He was already suspended.

Police are interrogating the accused about the two wardens who were present with him at the time of the incident. He will also be arrested soon. On April 30, the police had registered an FIR in the case. Miniraj could be arrested after 13 days of investigation. Miniraj and Prakash Singh Rajput were presented in the court on Tuesday afternoon. From where he was sent to jail.

The accused declared himself innocent in police custody. He has denied any atrocities against the girl. Miniraj told the police that he had given admission to the girl only on the advice of SI Prakash Rajput. It was only on Rajput's insistence that he agreed to meet the girl and her mother at home.

The girl's mother got her daughter a medical examination on April 29. Police received information from the hospital. Meanwhile SI Prakash Rajput reached the hospital. There he pressurised to withdraw the complaint.

Rape was medically confirmed on the same day. In the medical it was mentioned that the girl's private parts were molested but, FIR was not registered. The next day on April 30, an FIR was registered in this matter and Prakash Rajput was named in the FIR as well. Despite this he was not arrested.

Three days ago the CWC team recorded the statements of the girl. Even then the girl remained firm on her statements. After this the police came into action, and the accused could be arrested.

Four days ago, a written complaint was once again made by the mother of the victim girl. In which it was told that the bearded man who molested the girl was Miniraj Modi. Miniraj's Facebook profile was shown to her by the girl's mother.

Seeing the photo in it, the girl said that this is the same bearded uncle who had done wrong things to her. We also went to this uncle's house. After this, the police laid siege to Katara Hills and detained Miniraj from outside a house. On Monday night, the girl got the accused identified. She recognized the accused.

DCP Shraddha Tiwari said, 'The girl has recognized Miniraj. The girl has told that before admission, her mother had taken her along with the police uncle to the house of this bearded uncle. This same uncle had done dirty acts with her in a hostel room.

Despite various medical reports and medical boards not confirming rape, the girl remains firm on her statements. Statements made in the court under section 164 CrPC in the presence of her mother, she had narrated the entire incident in a sequential manner.
