Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that following the Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain, similar events will be organised in Jabalpur, Rewa, and Gwalior which will also witness the dedication and inauguration of new industrial units. Dr. Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, crediting it with India's impressive GDP growth, which has garnered international attention. He expressed optimism about the industry's potential and the significant contributions of India's 140 crore citizens to the nation's development. Yadav extended a warm welcome to investors attending the conclave.
Yadav commended Prime Minister Modi's leadership, highlighting his encouragement to embrace new techniques. India, once ranked 11th in terms of economy, has now ascended to the 5th position, a testament to its ongoing upward trajectory. The nation's development journey, characterized by the ethos of 'talk less, do more,' remains steadfast.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav noted the significant presence of industrial representatives at the Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain. The event is poised to create a historic business and industry worth Rs 1 lakh crore. Land has been allocated for approximately 250 industrial projects, promising direct employment to over 20,000 individuals through the establishment of new units.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav attributed India's enhanced global standing to the efforts of Prime Minister Modi. He recalled the benevolent deeds of Samrat Vikramaditya, who, upon initiating the Samvat system, not only absolved the debts of all inhabitants under his rule but also supported them in achieving self-sufficiency. Dr. Yadav emphasized that governance cannot rely solely on power; it must be rooted in public welfare, driven by resolute determination and active public engagement.
At the outset, many investors expressed their views regarding investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh. The investors also gave information about the work to be done.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said that about 35 clusters are established in the state. Madhya Pradesh has a tradition of special industrial production in a particular region. Madhya Pradesh has policies that encourage investment. The model of 40 percent capital subsidy will become popular through the MSME department. Industrialists are being given full support for investment in Madhya Pradesh. The industrial sector will prosper due to the goals of balanced development of Prime Minister Modi and the efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
Chief Secretary Veera Rana said that Madhya Pradesh has abundant resources besides an extensive forest area for industrial development. The state is leading in many agricultural products. The Conclave can help in realizing its investment potential.
Chandramouli Shukla, MD, Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, welcomed the investors attending the conclave by presenting them with shawl and angavastram on the occasion of the inauguration of the two-day Regional Industry Conclave under Invest Madhya Pradesh.
Addressing the conclave, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Raghavendra Kumar Singh said that Madhya Pradesh has abundant investment potential. A short film based on the industrial scenario of Madhya Pradesh was also screened. Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Dharmendra Lodhi and public representatives were also present in the conclave. Many public representatives connected virtually from different places of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave away allotment letters for 508 hectares of land to 283 units in the programme. These units will provide employment to more than 20 thousand people with a total investment of more than Rs 12 thousand 170 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav symbolically presented land allotment letters to the officials of some industrial units. The Chief Minister also provided letters of approval to industrialists under PM Kusum Yojana. This scheme is an important scheme of the renewable energy sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav innaugrated and dedicated 61 units costing a total of Rs 10 thousand 64 crore with a single click. These units have been established in various districts of the state. Besides, new units are also being started. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also dedicated new units in Vikram Udyogpuri district Ujjain.
