On June 16, 2024, the Ladies Committee of the Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City organized a humanitarian event at the Naya Mod bus stop in Bokaro Steel City. They distributed approximately 300 bottles of mineral water to long-distance travelers. This initiative aimed to provide relief to passengers suffering from the scorching heat and harsh environmental conditions.
The travelers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club members for their noble gesture. The event was deemed a great success, benefiting around 300 people. Key attendees included President Rotarian Ghanshyam Das, Rotarian Hardeep Singh, Dr. Rajdeep, Rotarian Alka Gupta, Rotarian Mala Tripathi, Rotarian Sheela Jaiswal, Neelam Das, Rotarian Jaswinder Kaur, Rotarian Sandhya Raj, Sunita Jain, and Rotarian Lalita Agarwal.
