Ahead of the simultaneous elections in the State, a training for police personnel of the rank of Inspectors and above was conducted in the office of SP, Brahmapur.
Role of the police when the Model Code of Conduct is in force was elaborated. Special focus on executing NBWs, taking action against the trouble makers under sections 107 and 110 CrPC was discussed.
Special attention was given to border sealing along Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Total six border check posts have been identified and are functional along the important border areas.
Continuous checking will be done along them. Flying squads have already been activated and they are doing their work. Area domination Flag March is being done by BSF persons in all police station areas, it was said.
