Steel authority of India Limited is organising its 1st HR conclave at Ranchi on 23rd and 24th May 2024 wherein over 100 delegates from all SAIL Plants and Units shall be participating. The annual conclave will be chaired by KK Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL and attended by Executives Directors and Senior Executives from Plants and Units. Amarendu Prakash, Chairman, SAIL would be addressing the gathering from New Delhi in virtual mode.

A number of events have been planned during the two day programme which includes panel discussions by Director (Personnel & IR), Coal India Ltd.; Director (Personnel), SAIL; Director (HR), HPCL; ED & Head of HR, Power Finance Corporation etc. A special event shall be a fireside chat by one of India’s most iconic HR leaders Prabir Jha and Professor Charu Malhotra, IIPA, and presentation by industry experts.

Representatives from TATA STEEL, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and senior partners from Business Consulting firms viz. Boston Consultant Group (BCG) and Deloitte would also be contributing in the event and share latest HR trends and best HR practices.

The 8 finalist teams from the five Integrated Steel Plants and SAIL’s Marketing wing CMO will also be competing in the grand finale to be held on the 2nd day of the Conclave. The results of the competition will be announced on the same day.

1st and the 2nd ranked HR teams will be awarded the Best HR Team Trophy and 1st Runner up Trophy respectively for the year 2024.
