A case of blackmail and sexual exploitation for seven years by her alleged lover  has come to light on Tuesday.

A 23 years old girl from a village under Garhwa Police Station area was sexually exploited by the Mukhiya of Pratappur Panchayat Shafiq Khan alias Bhutto Khan for seven years.

According to the victim's complaint, in the meantime the alleged lover got the girl married to another boy. But behind the scenes, he kept playing the game of keeping the girl trapped in his love . For this, he got the alleged lover divorced by sending the audio recording of the conversation to her in-laws. After the divorce, the alleged lover  refused to accept her and threatened to kill the girl's family. Then the girl presented the audio clip as evidence in Garhwa police station and lodged an FIR against Shafiq Khan.

Police sent her to medical examination on Tuesday.

According to the application given for the FIR, in the year 2017, when the victim was 17 years old, Shafiq Khan raped her forcefully for the first time. But later he trapped her in  love . Then after convincing the victim to show off to the society, he got her married to someone else on 22 June 2019. But a few days after the marriage, he started calling the girl's in-laws. But the girl informed me that she was happy in her in-laws' house. Then her alleged lover got angry and sent the recording of the earlier conversation with the girl to her in-laws. Due to this, the girl's marriage broke. When she came to her maternal home after the divorce, Mukhiya Shafiq Khan also got the girl to file a case against her in-laws. Despite the girl doing all this, Shafiq Khan refused to marry her. According to the victim, now he is threatening to kill her parents, grandfather etc. The victim said that Shafiq Khan is of criminal nature. He can hurt the victim and her family members anytime.
