Jehangirabad police have arrested a man for attacking him with a sharp edged weapon over petty issue at Ravidas Colony.

A case of stabbing of his brother has come to light in Jinsi area of Jehangirabad police station area, in which the injured youth is admitted in the hospital.

During the investigation it was found that both the brothers lived in the same house. During this time, the dispute over disconnecting the power supply erupted and they attacked each other in which one of them was attacked with a sharp edged weapon.

A case was registered by the police and in the investigation the accused was arrested and was sent under judicial custody. The other brother is currently admitted in a critical condition.

According to the police, Pradeep Bamne and Rahul Bamne live in Ravidas Colony, Jinsi, both of them work as laborers. During this time, there was a dispute between the two regarding disconnecting the power supply of each other's room at around 7 am on Monday morning. In the dispute Pradeep Bamne stabbed Rahul Bamne, causing serious injury to his stomach. The injured have been taken to the hospital and the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.

Meanwhile  an incident of rape with a girl at Katara Hills area was reported, victim girl used to study in a coaching class in MP Nagar was sexually assaulted by her freind.

Police said that the accused took her to his house on the pretext of talking to her, where he raped her. This incident took place on March 29. According to Katara Hills Police, the youth has been arrested and has been produced in the court.

Police constable Sant Prakash Pandey said that the youth committed this incident on March 29. The girl, who is about 23 years old, had come from outside to study in Bhopal. She was studying English speaking in a coaching center in MP Nagar.

In the same coaching a youth used to study with her. On the pretext of talking, he brought her to his house in Laharpur Katara Hills where he committed the crime. After which the girl has complained about this matter to the police. The police have arrested the accused.
