Hailing the Election manifesto released by the Congress party for the Lok Sabha Election, former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday said this manifesto will prove to be a roadmap to ensure justice and fair participation for every section. Each of its promises will be implemented when the Congress government is formed, he added.

Calling upon all the Congress leaders and workers to take this Nyaypatra to every home and every person during the election campaign, Hooda said that the suggestions given by his committee in the party's Udaipur and Raipur convention, to improve the condition of farmers, have found a place in the Nyayapatra.

He said the Congress has accepted the biggest demand of farmers and has promised loan waiver and legal guarantee of MSP. Apart from this, the announcement of giving annual assistance of Rs 1 lakh to every woman from poor family, and daily wage of Rs 400 to MNREGA workers is also included in the Nyaypatra.

Hooda said that the announcement of equity and justice for youth, farmers, women, workers was made in the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” under the leadership of former party president Rahul Gandhi. The party has included 25 guarantees in the manifesto. To curb the increasing unemployment in the country and the state, the party has guaranteed immediate permanent appointment to 30 lakh government posts under the Youth Justice Scheme. Apart from this, guarantee of apprenticeship with a stipend of Rs 1 lakh per year to every graduate and diploma holder, a guarantee of conducting examinations in a reliable manner by making a new law to stop paper leaks, start-up fund to the youth at the district level from the national fund of Rs 5000 crore. The guarantee of making them entrepreneurs is also included in the Nyaypatra, he added.

For socio-economic equality, Hooda said that the party has announced a caste census of every person and every class. In the constitutional justice section of the Nyayapatra, there are issues like save democracy, freedom from fear, independence of media and judiciary, and campaign against corruption. In this, various subjects ranging from economy, to art and culture have been given place.

Senior Congress leader said a concrete vision has been laid on changes in economic policies, curbing unemployment and tax reforms for economic justice in the manifesto. It also includes the need to further broaden the relations between the Union and the states to strengthen the federal structure under State Justice. Keeping in mind the importance of defence and internal security of the country, there is also a section of defence justice, which also includes foreign policy, Hooda added.
