Free Vision and Eye checkup of senior citizens will be done in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital for one month from 29th April to May 28, 2024. On the basis of first come first serve, maximum registration and diagnosis of 50 visually impaired senior citizens will be done in a day.
Medical Director Dr. Prerna Upadhyay has said that the people of 60 years or above should get their eyes checked once in 6 months or an year. The adverse effects of air pollution, excessive use of electronic gadgets, TV and other devices also lead to deterioration of vision and cause various eye diseases also. Similarly Eye health is also adversely affected due to diabetes.
Managing Trustee of SSEH Shri A.C. Sadhwani has suggested the senior citizens to take advantage of this free eye disease testing facility and get timely treatment of their eye ailments if necessary.
