2 miscreants snatch youth’s gold pendant

A 17-year-old youth was robbed of his gold pendant and mobile phone near Rose Beauty Parlour under Baghsewania police station area in the evening on Thursday.

According to the police, the victim Vikas Rai was on his way to home after work and was attacked by two bike borne miscreants and snatched the gold pendant and mobile phone.

A complaint was lodged with the police by the victim. In the complaint the victim claimed that the two bike borne miscreants in the age group of 25-30 years appeared and attacked him and escaped with the gold pendant and mobile phone. He alerted locals but failed to get help and miscreants managed to escape the spot. The victim was not able to notice the registration number of the bike

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 392 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The victim is a resident of Surendra Palace and pursuing engineering from IES College. 

Police said that the victim has claimed that the robbed gold chain was worth Rs 25000. During the further investigation police would investigate CCTV cameras installed in the nearby areas which would help in the nabbing the accused.
