Bhopal to host first ever ‘Adventure Next’ on Dec 4, 5

Bhopal would host the first ever international Adventure Next on December 4 and 5.

The event will be inaugurated at International Convention Centre (Minto Hall) the on December 4. The events under it will be at Tribal Museum also.

The main hall of the venue has been named Raja Bhoj Hall, the market place as Chowk Bazar and the food zone as Annapoorna for this prestigious event. 

The cultural programes during it include performances of Bharat Natyam, Mohini Attam, tribal folk dances.

About 200 delegates including buyers, international media representatives, sellers, office bearers of the Adventure Tour Operators Association and hotels, hospitality and tour operators are likely to attend the Adventure Next.

This is the first event of its kind in India for which Bhopal, the City of Lakes, has been selected as the venue. The last Adventure Next was held at Jordon.

The main objective of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) is to make adventure travel industry more responsible and more professionally competent for sustainable Tourism development.

It may be mentioned here that set up in 1990, the ATTI has about 1300 members in 100 countries.

 Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Tourism Suman Billa, Madhya Pradesh Principal Secretary, Tourism and MD of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Hari Ranjan Rao will give presentation.

Principal Secretaries, Secretaries of tourism department of various states, chairman of ATTA Senan, senior officers of Tourism Board and chairman of Adventure Tour Operators Association of India captain Swadesh Kumar and other office bearers will be present on the occasion

The event coincides with the Adventure Year declared by the Tourism Ministry.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism has been conferred the national award of Best Adventure State jointly on Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Adventure Next will be plastic-free and plastic water bottles etc. will not be used. This aims at discouraging use of plastic.
