Monsoon may be months away but Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to prepare a report on flood prone zones and regions so that an action plan could be drafted to avoid last minute hiccups.
“Preparations to provide relief to flood-affected farmers should start at the right time. District magistrates and officials of Central Flood Commission should do the groundwork at the earliest so that relief could be extended to flood ravaged people,” Yogi said in Lucknow on Thursday.
