Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate a four-day-long Khadi Mahotsav at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan here on Thursday.
Union Minister of State for MSME Giriraj Kishore and Khadi and Village Industries Commission chairman Vinay Saxena will also participate in the event.
State Minister for Khadi and Village Industries Satyadeo Pachauri said here on Wednesday that the Khadi Mahotsav, which would conclude on December 9, was being organised to promote the traditional khadi craft.
He said a seminar would also be organised during the mahotsav and it would have experts from the field of small and village and cottage industries as speakers.
On the inaugural day of the mahotsav, a khadi fashion show has been organised.
Pachauri said that at the mahotsav, khadi products would be available for sale for the visitors.
