DPS Ranchi top co-ed school: C Fore survey

Delhi Public School Ranchi has once again bagged top position in the city among co-ed schools, according to a survey conducted by Education World magazine in association with the research and opinion poll firm Centre for Forecasting (C fore) Delhi. St Thomas School and Javahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali have grabbed second and third rankings respectively as per the survey report released on Friday.

The Annual EducationWorld India School Rankings 2018- 19 result of survey conducted by C-Fore has also released rankings top Co-Ed schools in State. DPS, Bokaro has bagged the top Co-Ed school position in the State, while Loyola School, Jamshedpur and DPS, Ranchi alongwith Little Flower School, Jamshedpur have been ranked second and third best schools respectively.

Schools that have grabbed top 10 positions in the survey include Carmel Junior College, Sonari, Jamshedpur; Chinmaya Vidyalay, Bokaro Steel City; Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar; DPS, Dhanbad;  DAV Public School, BCCL, Koyla Nagar, Dhanbad; St Xaviers School, Hazaribagh; Narbheram Hansraj English Medium School, Jamshedpur, Sant Nandlal Smriti Vidya Mandir, Singhbhum (E) and Holy Cross School, Ghatotand, Hazaribagh.

The rankings are based on 14 parameters which include academic reputation, community service, competence of faculty individual, attention to students leadership/ management quality life skills education and conflict management, co-curricular education, internationalism parental involvement / ( Pastoral care- in boarding schools ), teacher welfare and development, value for money sports education, safety and hygiene including infrastructure provision etc.

The survey rates and ranks the country’s Top 1,000 schools in 10 categories including Day: Co-ed, Boys and Girls, Day-cum-boarding, Boarding: Co-ed, Girls and Boys, International: Day, Day-cum-boarding and fully Residential.

Moreover, Private Budget, Special Needs and Government schools are also ranked separately.
