One application for clearance of advertisement was received by the Media Certificate and Monitoring Committee which was cleared in the maiden meeting of committee chaired by additional Chief Electoral Officer Dr S Bharatidasan, at office of Chief Electoral Officer.
The committee cleared the advertisements for the publication by issuing no objection certificate.
The certificate committee has Dr Renuka Shrivastava (Returning Officer Raipur South, Akashwani Programme head S Padmaja and Doordarshan Programme head PK Shrivastava.
As per the Election Commission of India directive, one State level and in each district level one MCMC has been constituted. MCMC constituted at State level a Chief Excutive Officer (CEO) is the chairperson.
The members are one Returning Officer of Raipur, Chhattisgarh and two class I officers.
