Moot Court held at Career College of Law in Bhopal

The Moot Court was organized at Career College of Law here on Tuesday. The studnets discussed the Hemraj Double Murder Case during the moot court.

The defence lawyer was Chanchal Tiwari and the prosecution was Pramod Sharma. Moreover, Ragini Sharma was the judge at the court. During the Moot Court Gajanand Dubey as a CBI Officer and Sakshi Jain gave his testimony as a gynecologist.

The argument began with “My lord Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar are the main accused. This is clear from the investigations of the CBI officer, from the statements of the Bharati Mandal, who was the maid of the house, from the post mortem report and from the Medical Officer's report.” Judge Ragini Sharma said that in view of all the evidence and witness and public prosecutor Pramod Sharma, the decision was taken to their side, considering all the evidences and arguments.

On this occasion, Ashutosh Mishra, Secretary, Bhopal, District Legal Services Authority was present as the Chief Guest in the programme,.

 Addressing the students, Mishra said that the Bachelor of Law of India and the University of Law the Moot Court Practical has been declared compulsory for each student so that before the graduation of the law, the student becomes aware about how the courts work.

Mishra wished students for their bright future.

At the start of the programme, guests were welcomed by Prof. Professor of Career College of Law, P.N. Tiwari.

The programme was conducted by Prof. Sonam Jain while Prof. P K Gupta gave the vote of thanks. There were a large number of law students, including academic and non-academic staff.
