National Handloom Expo 2018: More than 100 stalls participate

More than 100 stalls from 16 states are vying the customers. At National Handloom Expo 2018 stalls from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Haryana, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Assam, Delhi and Chhattisgarh would conspicuously display the stuff in the national exhibition.

The exhibition is captivating the interest of the shopaholics. Each day a huge footfall could be noticed at the exhibition cum sale. From Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and some stalls from Uttar Pradesh would also display the specialty of their region. Pure Silk and cotton apparel from Assam and West Bengal is captivating the attention of the visitors. Besides, to enhance the taste buds of the Bhopalites, vendors would also bring the different eatables as well. Around 90 societies from across the nation have participated in the national expo putting up their stuff at 110 stalls in which 40 stalls are already available at the haat and 70 stalls will be established at the premises.

Bhopal haat always bring something new for the citizens and this time people got the opportunity to buy handloom materials of different States of the country under one roof. The buyers are being captivated towards the beautifully crafted handicraft stuff. Especially, the batik and bagh print suits, jute materials and Kashmiri Pashmina shawls and stoles.

Further to make the expo even more enjoyable, Weavers Service Centre Indore will put up Theme Pavilion giving detailed information about handloom and handicraft. The National Handloom Expo would conclude on December 10.
