Due to the para-teacher's strike study work at around 755 schools in the Garhwa district have been affected since Friday. The strike also affecting study of at least 40000 students from rural and semi-urban areas of the district. Claiming this district president of Jharkhand Para Sikshak Mahasangh Suryadeo Tiwari said, "Study at around 755 schools in the Garhwa district have been stalled from Friday, due to our strike, affecting at least 40 thousands students from rural and semi-urban areas of the district".
While president claimed that the "all 3416 para-teachers are on strike.At least 755 schools have remained locked since September 16.
We don’t want to disturb the education of the students but the government has left us with no other option,” said Mani Shanker Pandey, president of the Bargarh block of Jharkhand Para Sikshak Mahasangh.
However, the District Education officer confirming the news and said that he has instructed to the School Management committees to operate school through alternate arrangements, so that the studies can run smoothly. The DSE informed that 238 para teachers are out of the strike and remained present in schools on Saturday.
Other hand para teachers of Bhadariya block burnt effigy of Chief Minister Raghubar Das at block headquarter on Saturday. The para-teachers went on strike demanding regularisation of services and lathi charge on para teachers during agitation at Ranchi, on September 15.
