In her career spanning over three decades, Das had won the hearts of cine goers for her powerful roles in films like ‘Suna Chadhei’,  and ‘Naga Phasa’, ‘Krishna Sudama’, ‘Ramayana’, ‘Swapna Sagara’, Gadhi Janile Ghara Sundara’, ‘Maa-o-Mamata’ and ‘Ki Heba Sua Posile’ to name a few.

Mainly, her role as mother in a large number of films earned her immense popularity.
