Three arrested for planning dacoity, two escape

The Baghsewania police have nabbed three miscreants while two managed to escape as they were planning to commit dacoity in Planet City colony on Sunday; search for the two has been started by police.

Police teams rushed to the spot after receiving information regarding miscreants planning robbery near Planet City colony late in the night on Sunday. Two sharp-edged weapons, rope and chili powder were recovered from their possession.

The nabbed accused have not revealed the area where they trying to loot.

In the initial investigation the nabbed accused confessed that two to their accomplices managed to escape in dark. The nabbed accused were identified as Ashok Meena of Barrai, Kamal Marawi of Baghmughalia, Sangeet Kanjar of Baghsewania while the absconding accused were identified as Ajit Kanjar and Govind Karu.

Based on the details provided by the nabbed accused police have intensified the search for the absconding accused. The nabbed accused persons have also provided details of their whereabouts which would help in the investigation.

During the investigation police found that Ashok Meena has been booked for 20 crimes, Kamal Marwai has been booked for 3 crimes and Sangeet Kanjar has been booked for 17 crimes. The crime record details of the absconding accused has to be investigated. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 399 and 402 of the IPC and sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act. The police have started further investigation. Police said that more crimes would be revealed in the further investigation.
