International Life Skills Olympiad test
Skillizen Learning Foundation, a Singapore based global socio-educational company, has announced registrations for Life Skills Olympiad, 2019.
The International Life Skills Olympiad (ILSO) is designed for school children (including home-schooled ones) from Classes III to XII. The test will focus on evaluating real-world skills and competencies that are critical for young children to manage and succeed in professional and social lives.
The registration for ISLO is live; registration has a fee of `490. Interested parents and schools can register students on www.lifeskillsolympiad.org by paying the nominal registration fee that includes life skills guides, practice questions, and a mock test.

Make the Future Live
After a successful first edition in 2018, Shell is back with Make the Future Live India, to be held at the Shell Technology Centre, Bengaluru.
The edition will showcase innovation and foster dialogue on clean energy solutions for powering progress in mobility, while deliberating on technologies, challenges, opportunities and partnerships. This is also a valuable opportunity for student teams to test and fine tune their self designed and built energy efficient vehicles for the regional Shell Eco-marathon Asia competition in 2020.
It is a platform for widespread youth participation following the growing demand of the students to continue hosting the fuel-efficiency competition.

Learn Now Pay Later
The ICA EduSkills has joined causes with Bajaj Finserv to bring out a revolutionary scheme called the — Learn Now Pay Later scheme. This will enable students to avail cutting-edge and valuable courses that ICA has to offer, without having to worry about paying the entire fees for these courses upfront. Student can pay now fee in convenient installments of `2,500-`3,500 per month. The students can start repaying the fee from the seventh month of completion of the course, over a tenor ranging from 12-24 months.
With the scheme, students just need to pay `10,000-`20,000 and can complete any finance-related course within six months. This, in turn, would empower the nation to house a new and fresh workforce, skilled with the apt skill to contribute towards the growth of the nation.
Toppers Speak Seminar
The FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh centre organised felicitation ceremony for the Toppers of JEE Advanced 2019 along with a toppers speak seminar wherein the students shared tips and success mantra with future aspirants of IIT-JEE. More than 350 students attended the session.
Addressing the audience Partha Halder Centre Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre said: “One must strive for excellence in every sphere of learning during the preparatory days. One must practice a lot and identify the reasons for committing silly mistakes. This will help to plug the loopholes.” Adding further, he said “A student needs to raise the bar with every passing month leading up to IIT-JEE.”
