SAIL holds cricket match for steel industry

New Delhi: Hon’ble Union Minister of Steel Chaudhary Birender Singhinaugurated a cricket match organized by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for the entire domestic Steel Industry at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, in New Delhi today. This cricket match was a part of Diamond Jubilee celebrations by SAIL to commemorate its sixtyyears of production.

32nd Garden Tourism fest ends on high note

New Delhi: The 32nd Garden Tourism succeeded in attracting thousands of visitors to the venue of Garden of Five Senses. People not only bought numerous varieties of plants but also were spell bounded by the beauty of Garden of Five Senses as they spent quality time with their friends and family in the lush green gardens.The festival enlightened the visitors on the importance of gardening and how small efforts can make a difference towards a greener Delhi.

Candle light march held for martyrs

New Delhi: A candle light march was organised by the CRPF Family Welfare Association(CWA) and member of civil society from Connaught place to Jantar Mantar New Delhi. Thousands of the members of CRPF family welfare association, ladies, Children and general public from neighboring locality gathered to express their solidarity with the martyrsand their families.The participants were dressed in black holding placards and national flags in their hands and shouting slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Jawano Ka Yah Balidhan Nhi Bhulega Hindusthan” and condemned dastardly militant attack.

NLC holds Mini Marathon for martyred Jawans

The Mini Marathon for the cause of “Promoting Good Health and Fitness” was held in the Neyveli township on the 17 th of February 2019. The marathon was flagged off by the Chairman cum Managing Director, NLCIL, Shri. Rakesh Kumar from Bharathi Stadium. Homage was paid to the martyrs of the recent terror strike in Pulwama before the start and the run was dedicated to them. Abbas Naqvi praises Modi Govt

New Delhi: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said here that for the first time since the Independence, the Central Government has been providing 100 per cent financial help to utilise Waqf properties across the country for educational empowerment and job-oriented skill development of the needy sections of the society.

While chairing a meeting of newly constituted Central Waqf Council (CWC) in New Delhi, Shri Naqvi said that the Modi Government has provided basic amenities to ensure educational empowerment and job-oriented skill development of Minorities, especially girls, in those backward areas of the country which were deprived of these facilities since the Independence.
