The Delhi Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a 35-year-old man from Sultanpuri area in national Capital. The accused was wanted in a murder case in Ghaziabad. The accused has been identified as Pardeep (35), a resident of New Vikas Nagar in Ghaziabad.
“The arrest was made on a tip-off that the accused would come to Sultanpuri to meet his associates,” said Seju Kuruvilla, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Outer district.
“During interrogation, the accused confessed that he had killed one property dealer over a dispute in the area of Loni, Ghaziabad,” said the DCP.
“Police have recovered one country-made pistol, two live cartridges and one car from the possession of the accused,” said the DCP adding that further interrogation is in progress.
