BJP national president Amit Shah on Tuesday conducted a road show on the Grand Road here in favour of his party candidates, including Puri Lok Sabha candidate and party national spokesperson Sambit Patra, ahead of polls.
After having a darshan of the Shreemandir deities, Shah moved in a huge rally from Marichikota Square to Balagandi Square and wooed voters for the BJP candidates for development of Puri and the State as well.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Lok Sabha candidate Patra and Puri Assembly candidate Jayant Sarangi were present.
Though Shah was scheduled to address at public meeting in front of the Gundicha Temple, he had to cancel it as he was late by nearly two hours, according to information. However, other party leaders addressed the meeting.
