BJP protests at Kejriwal’s house with water samples

Days after the report of Bureau of India (BIS) claiming  that Delhi Jal Board (DJB’s) water is not drinkable, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest in front of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.

BJP members collected 500 samples from different locations and accused Kejriwal for forcing people to drink polluted water in name of free supply by ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government.

Recently, Kejriwal Government announced free water and electricity for Delhi residents however the findings of BIS report has forced people to give a cross check on the quality of water being supplied by DJB.

Delhi BJP unit chief and Member of Parliament (MP) from North East Parliamentary constituency, Manoj Tiwari said that Kejriwal is forcing people to drink this polluted water in the name of free supply by his Government.

According to a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) report released by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on November 16, all water samples collected from Delhi failed quality tests.

While AAP government has always projected it as people’s government Leader of Opposition (lop) Vijender Gupta said, “What kind of government which has left the people of the capital to die.”

BJP leaders collaborated and circled AAP government accusing them for not providing clean air and water, the basic needs require for the survival. “Water is indispensable for life and the government which cannot supply potable water is worthless,” said former Delhi BJP Satish Upadhyay.

General secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal asserted Kejriwal has no right to continue in power.  Pradesh General Secretary Ravinder Gupta said, “ Problem of drinking polluted water is serious threat in Delhi Kejriwal is busy in self praise.” “ People are very much scared because the water being supplied is stinking like sewer water. How this government is working that the people are craving for clean drinking water,” the BJP leader questioned.

Meanwhile, city is facing double whammy due to foul air and polluted water impacting health of its citizen.
