Bank of Baroda, Raipur region office and different regions under it celebrated the 112th Foundation Day.
BoB Deputy General Manager, Raipur Region, Ranjeet Kumar Mandal said the bank was established on July 20, 1908 by its founder Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in the princely state of Baroda in Gujarat.
He said as part of series of events, rich tributes were paid to the founder. Blood donation camp was organised at the regional office where around 112 units of blood were donated to Sheonath Blood bank and Bilasa Blook Bank. Besides, plantation, health check up camp and seminars with customers were held.
On Saturday, from Pandri regional office to Marine Drive a walkathon was organised in which bank staff created awareness on need to conserve water with the message ‘Save Water’.
Under the CSR activities, in a private school based at Devendra Nagar, last year meritorious students were felicitated with school bags and certificates. Around 20 computers were also handed over. In all the branches activities under CSR was held. Staff and their family members presented cultural programme. The winners of different competitions were awarded. All staff took pledge to provide best customer service.
