In a bid to ensure over peaceful environment in the district, the Garhwa district police have imposed Crime Control Act (CCA) against four notorious criminals, who are presently lodged in various jail including Garhwa Jail. Police are set to book 10 criminals under CCA.
The Act has been imposed against Iqbal Khan, Tahir Ansari, Satyendra Kumar Paswan and Ved Prakash Dubey alias Mantu Dubey.
The CCA has been recommended on Khustar Ansari, Bhikhu Paswan, Chunmun Dubey, Amit Kumar Dubey, Chhotu Singh, Vijay Ram, Vikash Dubey, Shashikant Mishra, Manoj Thakur and Arun Kumar Dubey.
“This step is taken to ensure free, fair and peaceful environment. Crime Control Act is imposed as a preventive measure by police.
However, the list of criminals has been returned to police by the DC to find out if the listed criminals are lodged in various jails,” said Garhwa SP Shivani Tiwari.
