Shahpura police have booked a contractor for death caused due to negligence of a 25-year-old labourer; a case was registered on Sunday.
Police have registered case against contractor Dinesh Yadav who had employed Akash Rajput for painting work of house during which he fell and later died. The incident took place on June 1 when Akash was working at Pallavi Nagar and was rushed to nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
In the initial investigation body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
Later, in the investigation police found that the death occurred due to negligence of the contractor and a case was registered against the contractor Dinesh Yadav. The police have registered a case under sections 288 and 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old died while his friend escaped with injuries after their bike rammed into a road divider at VIP road under Koh-e-Fiza police station area at 3.30 in the night on Sunday.
Police said that two injured youths were rushed to nearby hospital where one of them was declared dead while other escaped with injuries. The deceased was identified as Ishan Ali while the youth who escaped with injuries was identified as Dawood where his condition is reportedly stable.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
