A 35-year-old woman doctor died under mysterious circumstances on Monday night after falling from the 21st floor of a posh residential complex located in Gurugram’s sector 82. Police suspected the incident is a case of accidental death, but are conducting further investigations. The probe team didn’t find any suicide note from the body of the woman. Police said her family didn’t file any complaint in connection with the incident.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Dr Richa Aggarwal, a practicing dentist, who originally hailed from Rajasthan and currently and lived in a rented flat on the second floor of the Kansa Bella Society in Sector-82 from March 2019 along with her husband Virender Goyal who works as IT manager at Goibibo and 7-year-old daughter.

During preliminary investigation, it came to fore that they often fought with each other and as a result of frequent quarrels, Richa was depressed. On Monday night too, the couple had a minor altercation.

Richa then moved to Tower A-2 and she fell down from the balcony between the 21st floor of Tower A2. On hearing the sound, a security guard of the society rushed to the spot where she found her lying in a pool of blood and informed the society members.

On receiving the information, Goyal also reached the spot and informed the police. After receiving information of the incident a police team reached the spot immediately and took the custody of the body and sent it to the mortuary.

“The victim’s parents have not lodged any case of foul play. The body has been handed over to the deceased family after an autopsy. No action has been taken against anyone in the case,” said Sub-Inspector Jaswant in-charge of Vatika police post.
