Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday asked officials to expedite work for preparing the draft bill for security of journalists as soon as possible.
Addressing the first review meeting of the Directorate of Public Relations at the Mantralaya, the Chief Minister directed officials to publicise the welfare policies of the State Government effectively so that the beneficiaries get maximum advantage of the schemes.
The Chief Minister also asked to maintain strict financial discipline in the working of the Department.
