FJCCI holds meet on poor trade condition in State

Sunday, 17 November 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

In an attempt to grab the Government’s attention on poor business and trade condition in the State, Federation of Jharkhand Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FJCCI) convened a State level meeting of its members here on Saturday.

Addressing the gathering of businessmen, FJCCI president Kunal Ajmani said that the situation of industries are very poor in the State and most of them were closed and remaining are heading towards closure. “Industrial areas such as Kokar, Tupudana, Tati Silvay and others are facing huge crisis of basic amenities. It is money of traders and industrialists which collects government in name of tax to run all welfare works but apathy of the Government towards business men community is worrying,” he added.

Ajmani said that with a view to strengthen trading and business environment in the State FJCCI will open its branches in rural and semi rural areas in days to come. “Established business houses are very disturbed. The Government’s good policies are not giving results. In such a situation we should think on the new government which will form after the election. In implementation of business policies it will be better effort to include participation of local stakeholders. We will form Government of traders, farmers and residents of Jharkhand. Our representative should provide a better system and good governance which should be corruption free.  No government can bring development by ignoring traders. We will show our emotions through voting which is our fundamental right,” he added.

The FJCCI president said that the traders will not go to meet political parties with their demand. “The representatives of political parties will come to meet us then we will submit our agenda. Whichever political party will include traders demands in their agenda the traders will support that party. The traders are too distressed that they are ready to contest the election as candidate. If any members of the chamber will want to contest the election then the traders’ body will consider supporting him,” he added.
