The MP Nagar police has arrested four persons for sodomising an 11-year-old boy near railway track at Rachan Nagar late in the night on Wednesday.
Police said that the victim was held in captivity and sodomised by four accused near railway tracks in Rachna Nagar.
The incident took place when the victim was heading toward his home along railway tracks in Rachna Nagar. Then, the four accused, identified as Palash, Abid, Akku and Montu appeared there, obstructed his way and hit him, resulting in the falling down of the boy.
The four took turns to sodomise him and before leaving, they threatened the victim of dire consequences if he reports the incident to anyone.
After the incident, the boy reached house and revealed the incident to the family.
Later, he, along with his parents, approached MP Nagar police station and lodged complaint. Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code and sections of Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against the four miscreants and arrested them on Thursday.
The victim is a resident of Anna Nagar and is a beggar. The details of the four accused would be investigated and police suspects that the four are involved in such activities for long but victim fearing threats of the accused never complain.
