Haryana Government will organise Pension Adalats in each district on August 23 from 11 am to 1 pm through centralised video conferencing at Haryana Niwas here.
Giving details, an official spokesman said that the Pension Adalats would be held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu for the redressal of grievances of the State Government pensioners. Additional Chief Secretary Finance Department, TVSN Prasad and Principal Accountant General (A and E) Haryana, Vishal Bansal would also be present in the video conferencing.
He said that all the stakeholders of pension like Finance Department, Principal Accountant General, Pension Disbursement Cell, Treasury Officers, Banks and NIC, would be available at a common platform.
Authority letters of pending or withheld gratuities and revision of pension cases of about 350 pensioners would be distributed by Deputy Commissioner or Treasury Officer to the pensioners at district level, the spokesman said.
The Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Principal Accountant General (A and E) Haryana and Deputy Commissioner Panchkula would distribute such authority letters to the pensioners of Chandigarh and Panchkula district at Haryana Niwas, he added.
