‘Providing best service is our priority’

Bhopal: Providing best and technologically advanced services to customers is our priority, said Andhra Bank Regional Office Bhopal M Narendra Kumar at special meeting for MSME and Retail customers. Assistant General Manager G Nageswar provided details of MSME and Retails products. He appealed that customers should shared problems faced in banking as it could help in resolving issues by the concern official. He said that suggestions are welcomed from all customers which would help the bank in providing services of the best level. At the meeting Chief Manager Rakesh Ravi and other officials and staff of the bank were present.

Sharma appointed as National Gen Secy at NUJI

Bhopal: Suresh Sharma, a senior journalist from Madhya Pradesh, has been appointed as the National General Secretary in the National Union of Journalists India (NUJI) National Executive Committee meeting held on 3 and 4 August in Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh. The National President of NUJI, Ashok Malik announced the name of Sharma after the approval of the Working Committee. Officials from all over the country and members of the Working Committee welcomed him with a loud voice. On Suresh Sharma becoming National Secretary General, NUJI President Ashok Malik, Vice President Manoj Mishra Delhi, Avtar Singh Chandigarh, Lalit Sharma Jaipur, including Madhya Pradesh senior journalists Rambhuvan Singh Kushwaha, Balmukund Bharti, Ravindra Bajpai, Arun Patel, Mahendra Dubey, Dr. Anand Shukla, Dinesh Sharma, Abha Nigam, Champalal Gurjar and others have given heartfelt congratulations. It is a matter of pride for the state that Madhya Pradesh has got this important post of the country's largest journalist organization.

Welcome ceremony organised at Raj Bhavan

Bhopal: A welcome ceremony was organised at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Independence Day. Visitors including Governor Lalji Tandon, Chief Minister Kamal Nath welcomed each other and exchanged greetings and best wishes on Independence Day. Governor Tandon honoured the freedom fighters by offering them shawl and shriphal. Former Governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, Public Relations Minister  PC Sharma, Chief Secretary SR Mohanty, Director General of Police VK Singh, Magistrate, Chairpersons of corporations-mandals, Vice-Chancellors of universities, religious leaders of various religions, office-bearers of political and social organizations, public representatives, senior officers of Army, Police and administration, journalists and dignitaries were present in the welcome ceremony.

city circle bags 1st position for power safety issues

Bhopal: Bhopal city circle has secured first position in the State along with Central Region Power Distribution Company for compliance with the standards related to power safety. Bhopal city circle has been awarded for this accomplishment. Energy Minister Shri Priyavrat Singh has congratulated the staff for the achievement. He said that this achievement is a source of inspiration for the staff of other areas. The distribution transformer failure rate in Sheopur Circle of Central Region Power Distribution Company has been less than four and a half percent in the financial year 2018-19. A total of 19 thousand 501 transformers have been installed in Sheopur circle. Less failure of distribution transformers means reduction in revenue loss of the company and availability of uninterrupted and quality power to consumers. Shivpuri distribution centre has secured the first position in terms of revenue recovery. The centre has recorded a growth of 11.5 percent in revenue collection in the financial year 2018-19 in 350 distribution centers of the company's work area.
