Nandankanan loses baby Nilgiri langur
Bhubaneswar: A day after the death of tigress ‘Priyanka’, the Nandankanan Zoological Park lost another animal with the death of a baby Nilgiri langur on Wednesday. The reason behind the baby monkey’s death was yet to be ascertained. It was born on June 1, just a day after its ailing father died at the zoo. Now, only one female Nilgiri langur is left at the zoo. She has been kept under the CCTV surveillance.

Ziqitza Healthcare holds cycle rally, plantation drive
Bhubaneswar: The Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd, an agency responsible for 108 and 102 ambulance operation in Odisha, on Wednesday organised a cycle rally and plantation drive pledging to make environment beautiful and green. The 5-km-long awareness cycle rally, started from Rupali Square and culminated at the Unit-4 Government Hospital, flagged off by Bhubaneswar DCP Padmini Sahoo. More than 100 of its employees took part in the plantation drive in the Unit-4 Hospital premises where National Rural Health Mission MD Shalini Pandit attended as guest.
