Even as a spell of rain on Wednesday night brought relief from the heat in Dehradun, the State Meteorological Centre has forecast moderate rainfall and thunderstorm at isolated places in the state on Thursday. Places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts are likely to experience such weather conditions today while dry weather is likely to prevail in the rest of the State.
In Dehradun, the meteorological centre has forecast mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 37 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places of the state on Wednesday were 39 degree Celsius and 22.7 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 36.5 degree Celsius and 20.6 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 24.7 degree Celsius and 9.7 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 28.6 degree Celsius and 13.4 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
