Literature festival held

Authors from many parts of the country participated in the ‘Lititude Literature Festival’ at Big Break Studios, here on Saturday. The festival is being organised the Uttarakhand Literary Circle, a subsidiary of India Literary Circle.

Noted cardiologist and author of the book,  ‘Please Mom! It’s my Life’, Dr Jaideep Singh Chadha, interacted with the audience on the ocassion.

In the inaugural session, Lucknow based author Viveik Pandit regaled the audience with anecdotes from his tale of Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati in his book ‘Rani’ which was highly appreciated.

Delhi-based poet Divya Bansal and Uttarakhand author Mukesh Bahuguna also read out their works.

The last session of the day was dedicated for upcoming local writing talent. Students from a Mussoorie school, Pracheeta, Kasturi and Anandita showcased their gifted writing talent, while Zenaida Cubbinz from Mussoorie, interacted with them and they all shared their experiences in the writing world.
